Here’s a list of the blogs that I check regularly, and why:
Sarah’s Bookshelves
One, we have the same name. Two, she posts honest and straightforward reviews of the books she likes, and the ones she doesn’t. Three, she helps me pick out my Book of the Month. Seriously, y’all, BOTM gets me every time. I want to read them all, or I’ve never heard of any, and I get stuck. I always go to reference Sarah’s guide, even if I don’t pick what she does. She recently started a new podcast that I’ll be tuning into.
The Ardent Biblio
Their website and photos are so beautiful that I get lost thinking about what my life would be like if I could get invited to one of their literary dinners. I religiously check their “Cheers to the Weekend” posts and have found such gems in their words.
Simone and Her Books
Do you have that friend who reads all the books that you want to read but can’t seem to? That’s Simone for me. Her fantasy reading is wide and varied and I am constantly adding books to my TBR because of her. Plus, she shares a lot of her real life on Instagram stories and I feel like I know her on a personal level that’s hard to achieve over the internet.
TBR, etc.
What I like about Tina is that the books she posts about are ones that I haven’t usually heard off. Being in the bookstagram community, I tend to get overwhelmed by the same books being posted about by everyone I follow. Tina surprises me with interesting descriptions of what she’s reading, and helps me to broaden the kind of fiction I read. Bonus: she categorizes all her posts (the nerd in me loves this) so that I can easily find a book she liked in a specific genre.
